What documentation will I receive after the inspection & testing of fire safety equipment?

Following inspection and testing of fire safety equipment at each site, you will be provided with a comprehensive report detailing works carried out and any failures or deficiencies if any. If required, annual fire safety statements (for local council or insurers) can be readily provided.

We are also a founding and current member of the Hunter Valley Safety Group. It is an organisation of local private and public sector representatives which gathers bi-monthly to share safety information, experiences and new developments.

What services do you offer?

We provide supply, installation, maintenance, and repair of fire extinguishers, alarms, sprinklers, lighting, and more. We also offer fire training and safety audits.


What types of clients do you serve?

We serve local City Councils, hotels, clubs, and high-risk facilities like explosives plants and petroleum terminals, providing tailored fire safety solutions for diverse needs.


What does your repairs policy entail?

We would also like to note that we have a policy of repairing damaged extinguishers (replacing parts) where at all possible in order to save our clients the expense of replacing condemned cylinders when the alternative solution may be as simple as replacing a discharge hose or applying a touch up of paint. Many of our competitors do not have such policies.


I need to provide my local Council with an Annual Fire Safety Statement. Can you help me?

Yes! From organising the initial servicing of equipment to the final completion of the certificate by our friendly and informed office staff. All you will have to do is sign the statement and forward it on.


Are you insured?

Yes, Approved Fire Gear Pty Ltd holds all necessary insurance and worker's compensation policies as required under law. All payments of fees in respect of these policies are made in a timely manner. Certificates of currency can be readily provided at your request.


Are you accredited for fire safety compliance?

Yes, we are accredited Fire Safety Practitioners recognised by the Fire Protection Association of Australia and can complete Annual Fire Safety Statements and Certificates.
