      How dangerous are the chemicals? Are they safe for my children and pets?

      All pesticides used are registered with the relevant authorities. They have been tested using the LD50 testing system. No products used are in a range dangerous to family or pets.


      I am a handyman & wish to do the pest control on my own. Can I handle the termite attack myself?

      Handling the termite attack requires special skills. It includes finding the critical areas where termites are likely to enter & many of these potential points of entry are hidden and difficult to access. Termite control also utilises specialised equipment. The treatment may involve hundreds of litres of a liquid pesticide, injected into the ground alongside the foundation, beneath the concrete slabs and within foundation walls. In short, termite treatment is a job for the professionals.


      How do I know if I have termites in my building?

      Most building owners are only aware of termite attack when they find damage. It is advised that you have a termite inspection performed annually by our technician. Early detection is the best way to prevent more damage.


      Do I have to empty my cupboards?

      No, it’s not necessary, however, the technician may request certain items in some situations be moved. To achieve the maximum results, it is advised to give the access to all areas, so that chemicals can be effectively dispersed in a safe manner.


      I am pregnant, so is there any risk in doing pest control? Should I leave the building?

      No, there is no risk. You may wish to leave the building in some cases, only because unfamiliar smells may affect your well-being. Any unpleasantness is not a health issue.


      Can my children and pets stay at home while pest control is going on?

      No, you will need to keep the pets & children out of the home as they may interfere in the operations. Animals are not allowed to interfere with the pesticides.
