On the 25th January 2023 my boat motor stopped 300 meters out from emu point boat ramp. I then drifted and was stuck on shallow sand bottom for an hour and had to leave the boat and walk in. The man on duty that afternoon did all he could to help and called someone to tow me back. Meanwhile i waved down another boat and they towed me in. I'd like to thank him and the volunteer at sea rescue i didn't get there names but the volunteer does the weather forcast from there base in the afternoon.
