FAQs
Do I need to make an appointment to see a Doctor?
FCMC works on an appointment basis. Please contact the practice to make an appointment or book your appointment online. Walk-in patients are welcome however patients with appointments are treated with priority.
Do I need to make an appointment for Blood Test?
No, you do not need an appointment for blood test.
Is it possible to have my results over the phone?
Telephone consultations will not be carried out and patients are encouraged to make an appointment with the receptionist or book an appointment online to discuss their results.
Do I require to book a long Appointment?
The practice do standard 10-15 minute appointments. Some services like pap smears, health assessments, skin checks, or if you have a number of complex concerns to discuss with your GP, you may need to book a longer appointments.
Can I always see my regular Doctor?
This will depend on the availability of the doctor. If the doctor is available, you will have an appointment, if the doctor is not available, we can offer you to see our other doctor or alternatively you can book an appointment for the next day.
How do I organise a work cover Consultation with a Doctor?
Work cover consultations will be treated the same as normal consultations. Work cover patients attending the practice will need to inform their employer regarding their injury and should have their employer details ready and provided to the receptionist when they arrived.

Poorly organized, long wait times where patients come a distant second - or third. After making an appointment for Dr Nadia & waiting over an hour, I'm informed that she has some other place to be & needs to leave. So I canceled - never to return

By far the best clinic in area. Even if you happen to live in Cabramatta or Canley Vale, I would suggest Fairfield Central Medical Centre as your go-to clinic. The reception staff are incredibly polite and understanding (which is something sorely lacking at the other major medical centre in Fairfield, you know the one). The doctors are always pleasant and friendly, and the clinic is absolutely pristine.

This is my go to medical centre in the area. They have a lot of female doctors and facilities are modern and clean. I usually see Dr Nicole Clancy, who is professional and very thorough. I've been a few times on Saturdays and was able to get a blood test downstairs.

Based on our experience I believe this is perhaps the best medical practice in the area. We have a 3-year-old child who was often sick when she was between 1 and 2 years old. Being first time parents my husband and I often panicked and did not know want to do. Also our child was quite a vigilant little one and she was often distressed (which made us even more stressed out) when we took her to see a doctor. Fortunately we found Fairfield Central Medical Centre on recommendation from a friend and we usually see Dr Khai Lee who has a way of putting our child at ease and he is highly professional and competent as a doctor. We found their other staff such as nurses and receptionists to be friendly, professional and efficient. Another plus is that the centre always looks spotless, modern and comfortable and it's a "one-stop" shop. So far we are very happy with this medical centre.
