We’ve assembled some pointers to help you understand how clutch services and brake services are done by your local brake mechanic. Here’s what to expect:

After bringing your automotive to a clutch service and a brake service, the automotive technicians undertake a comprehensive inspection of your clutches and brakes system’s model and make.
Auto brake services near you should inspect the following: pads (and/or shoes), calipers, rotors (and/or drums), wheel cylinders, hardware (springs and adjusters), hoses, parking brake cables, fluid condition, master cylinder fluid exchange, wheel bearings and grease seals.
Clutch services near you should inspect the clutch cable for cable operated clutch linkage systems, clutch master/slave cylinders and clutch fluids for hydraulic systems, clutch disks and clutch pedal.
They’ll produce an extensive report on each brake and clutch part, and whether they are up for repair or replacement.
Normally, when the parts are readily available, the job will be finished within the day. If not, then it may take up to a couple days more for the parts.
