Stainless steel fabrication is the process of cutting, bending and assembling metal to create a finished steel product. These three basic methods are used to deliver services such as robotics, optics, fabrication and customisation.
The cutting process is done by methods of sawing, shearing or chiselling using a torch such as an oxy fuel torch or plasma torch. Bending steel is done by hammering, either manually with a hammer or using a machine. Finally assembly is done by welding the pieces of steel together. Other tools of the trade include brake presses, augers, bolts, band saws and diamond wire cutting machines.
