Does St Vincent's take Interns from other clinical schools/universities and how are they selected?

Definitely. We always encourage applications from other clinical schools/Universities. The selection process is the same for all applicants.

Can rosters be swapped?

Individual terms throughout the year may be swapped by mutual consent as long as core training requirements are met and still ensure continuity of patient care (i.e. are not broken up). Swaps must be approved by the Supervisor of Prevocational Training.

Do I have to do an external rotation?

The majority of Interns will be required to do a country rotation to either -Warrnambool, Swan Hill, Hamilton Base or Werribee Mercy.
