Can I customise my stone benchtop design?

Can I see your stone slabs in person before deciding?

Absolutely. We encourage you to visit our Warana showroom, where you can explore our extensive collection of stone slabs in person. Our team will be happy to assist you in finding the perfect material for your project.

A job site is ready for template when?

All necessary appliances including cooktop, downdraft, stove, sinks, taps, hot water dispenser, or any other pertinent items are on site. Any item that requires a cut in the stone will be taken (if necessary) at the time of template (except cooktops, only specifications will be required) and returned at the time of installation. If Stone Effects has to make an additional trip to site due to the job site being unprepared to complete some work at the site, additional fees may apply (min $150.00).

What are the benefits of choosing granite or marble for my benchtop?

Granite is known for its exceptional durability, resistance to heat, and wide range of colours, while marble offers timeless elegance, unique veining, and a luxurious appearance. Both materials are ideal for creating high-end, long-lasting benchtops.

Do you remove the old tops?

Installation of stone tops does not include removal of the old ones unless arrangements have been made for us to do so. If we do remove existing tops, while all care will be taken, we will not be responsible for any damage that may occur (for example damage to splash back tiles).

How long does it take to install a stone benchtop?

Installation typically takes 1-3 days, depending on the complexity and size of the project. We ensure timely and efficient service.

Do you do the plumbing and wiring?

Plumbing and wiring is not included in any installation. We are not plumbers or electricians by trade. We will not disconnect or reconnect sinks or cooktops.

How long does it take to have my bench top installed?

The completion or installation date quoted is our best estimate of when you order will be completed.

When measuring up the benches do I have to be present?

The homeowner (or designated decision maker over the age of 18) must be present during the entire templating process.

How long does it take to fabricate and install my benchtop?

The timeline for fabrication and installation can vary depending on the complexity of the project, but typically it takes between 7 and 14 days after finalising your stone selection and measurements.

How much does a bench top cost?

We have priced your order based on the measurements that you have provided. If the Templator measurements are different, we will adjust accordingly.
