Is treatment given on the first visit?
In most cases treatment can begin on the first consultations. There are some circumstances where, in complicated cases, additional information may be sought before commencing treatment.
What type of treatment can I expect to get?
Since inception, chiropractic has involved the use of a variety of other modalities aimed at improving health and function. At Latrobe Health Centre, management options includes joint and muscle manual treatments, rehabilitation exercises, patient education and lifestyle modification, and the use of physical therapy modalities and orthotics and other supports.
What type of conditions can you help with?
Surveys demonstrate that the primary reasons patients consult chiropractors are back pain (approximately 60%), other musculoskeletal pain such as pain in the neck, shoulder, arms and legs, and arthritic pain (20%) and headaches including migraine (10%).
