      Since 1938 our family has had a tradition of helping other families through difficult times. We’ve been here, helping central Victorian people to celebrate and farewell their loved ones. Along the way we’ve responded and contributed to community and industry changes. But our exceptional service has remained a trusted constant. It was retired police sergeant Thomas John Scott who laid the foundations in Mollison Street, Kyneton, who was then joined by his son Jack in the early 1940’s. The business continues today with Jack’s son John Scott and his three children Kelly, Jack and Daniel, making it the fourth generation family profession. For over 75 years we’ve responded to and pioneered change in the funeral industry. Thomas started out with a Packard Hearse and a Vanguard Utility. Now you can choose our modified Holden Caprices or your own special transport. We’ve grown from our humble first premises and now offer comfortable and contemporary facilities, including a fully equipped mortuary and a 100-seat chapel. Today, the experienced T. J. Scott & Son team serves people from a range of backgrounds, from three central Victoria locations in Kyneton, Gisborne and Kilmore. Across the years we’ve remained a 100% family owned and personally operated family business.
