The Southern Flinders Discovery Centre is a Community administered Tourist Information Centre

We can cater for groups of up to 35 people and offer tastings or light refreshments using local products where they are available. The current ‘Eat Local SA’ promotion features the Southern Flinders Discovery Centre as a retail outlet in the Flinders Ranges region.A selection of articles crafted by talented locals is available along with a variety of Gladstone souvenirs.Guided walking tours have been developed to give the ‘Rail& Heritage’ history, including the unique triple-gauge railway lines, and the fact that Gladstone was once two towns (Gladstone & Booyoolee).
