Unfortunately apart of most who break down on the hume, i was 700ks from home.
Car left outside for 2 days best they could do was scan the car in that time
Misdiagnosed scan aswell - stated fuel pump however when getting the car back home and to my local mechanic it was a simple sensor gunked up and resolved within 40mins of arrival
Wanted to charge me $250 to get my key back after 2 days of practically nothing besides a scan of the car (which was wrong anyways)
After minimal rebuttal of the $250 they accepted $150 to give me my key back
If you feel you may be in the same situation and run the risk of being taken advantage of - these guys certainly will
Like most aswell, all happy and positive that they will get you back on the road until they have your car and the excuses follow

Got stuck in Goulburn when my car broke down at about 4 pm. They got me back on the road in an hour! Much appreciated.

My car broke down on a long drive the day before Australia day, about 30 kms from Goulburn. The team was happy to receive my car, in spite of the upcoming public holiday. They said they may not be able to fix it same-day, but would do their best. They put an extra man on the job to have it up and running by end of business, so I could finish the journey home. They were professional and respectful, checked that I was ok with prices before doing any work, and answered my questions helpfully. I am very grateful and would recommend!

I broke down in Goulburn on Christmas Eve and the team at Rapid Auto Repairs were extremely friendly and helpful. I highly recommend them!
