Aussie Pet & Animal Travel (APAT) is one of Brisbane's newest pet travel companies however one of its owners (Greg McLaren) has been involved in the pet travel industry in excess of 7 years and Rachael McLaren has been involved with animal husbandry from an early age growing up in rural England with a range of pets that farm life offers.
It is APAT's mission to provide travel solutions for all pet shipping needs, whether they're travelling locally, interstate or internationally. I have bred purebred and registered dogs for over 20 years. Once I found Greg and Rachel when they started about 13 years ago, I have always used them and I don't trust anyone else with my puppies.
It's a small business, so contacting them can sometimes be a bit hard (reading other reviews, but not often in my experience), but I feel that's a minor issue to make sure my puppies are in the best hands for when they travel. Highly recommend this small business!

Contacted via phone for international travel, advised that they could help and promised qoute after the weekend. Completed online form, no contact again from apat. Phoned a second time and they said they would follow up. nothing. All up 2 phone calls, an online form and 3 emails with no response. I would suggest going elsewhere.

My dog was booked through the third party with APAT but the communication and service was great.
He was picked up from the airport on time and delivered on time. Thank you for delivering my dog safe to the kennels and for reassuring me that he was fine during the travel.

I used this group 5 years ago and went back to them this time but with no luck. I submitted the online form - no answer, I phoned and was promised a call back - no call back, phoned again - no reply to my message, tried one last time and got through - apparantly they had emailed me (no email) but will check and come back to me. 2 days later and one more unanswered message still nothing - clearly they don't care!

Greg and Rachel were amazing to deal with. Great communication and genuine customer service, where other providers left us hanging with little to no response. This Team were able to secure our puppy a flight during the chaos of Covid weeks earlier than any other carrier. Polite, courteous and efficient, everything you want when trying to secure travel for your pet. definitely recommend
