Our aim is to teach all our students about the beauty of dance, develop their rhythm & confidence, in a fun, friendly environment.
Studio V School Of Dance operates in Heidelberg & has 3 fully equipped dance studios complete with mirrors and barres. We practise the Southern Federation of Dance curriculum, which supports the technical development of all young dancers in their chosen style.
Our students have the opportunity to express themselves in class work, exams, competitions & our annual concert. Our fully qualified teachers come from different training backgrounds & are committed to the Studio V School Of Dance objective. Each teacher brings their own unique style, and ensures all tuition complies with Ausdance regulations. Studio V School Of Dance is a member of the Southern Federation of Dance, an Australian non-profit organisation dedicated to excellence in dance and dance teaching. All our students practice the SFD syllabus.

FAQs
How does the dance calendar year work?
Our classes run in line with the normal victorian school terms. Therefore, we have four terms in one year, all approximately 10 weeks in duration (our dance year is generally a 40-week year). We do not run classes on the school holidays, nor on public holidays. Summer school workshops are offered in the january break, however these are by invitation only and available to existing dance students.
What does your teaching faculty look like?
We have a fantastic team of approximately 10 fully qualified dance teachers. Our teachers come from different training backgrounds, however the majority of our teachers are southern federation of dance qualified, SFD members, and SFD examiners, who are all committed to the Studio V School Of Dance objective. Can makeup lessons be made for classes missed?
Yes! If you miss a class due to illness, being away, or due to a public holiday you are welcome to arrange a time with your teacher or our administration team to make-up for the lesson.
