      Engineering Solutions Tasmania was established in 2004 with Steven Banbury and Andrew Blackberry as Directors and sole employees. Since this time, we have grown into one of the largest specialised building services engineering firms in Tasmania. We currently have one of the largest building services staff permanently based in the state. In 2007, we opened our Hobart office to cater for our expanding customer base and we now source much of our work from the south end of the state.

      Engineering Solutions Tasmania is a specialised multi-disciplined building services engineering firm. We undertake high profile projects for both government and private enterprise including health, education, commercial and domestic clients. Our experience spans the construction and industrial environments. Engineering Solutions Tasmania is committed to integrated practice where the provision of our designs incorporates the latest most efficient equipment and systems to ensure that the client receives the greatest value for the services provided.

      Engineering Solutions Tasmania utilises REVIT, the most up-to-date BIM software available, and incorporating AutoCAD, Enscape, Navisworks, Dynamo, and VR we produce industry leading 3D co-ordinated designs. Our Services Mechanical Services Heating/cooling, mechanical ventilation, LPG and natural gases, and medical gases. Electrical Services Power, communications and data, security, fire detection/alarms, MATV (digital TV wiring), quantify total/max power demands and nurse call systems.

      What does NABERS / ABGR Accreditation mean?

      NABERS is a national rating system that measures the environmental performance of Australian buildings, tenancies & homes. Put simply, NABERS measures the energy efficiency, water usage, waste management and indoor environment quality of a building or tenancy and its impact on the environment.       How can you help me with Energy Efficiency & Sustainable Design?

      Our objective is to provide energy efficient solutions to enable the client to find an appropriate balance between capital cost and ongoing operating and maintenance costs by carrying out life cycle costing on the key systems. We can assist with Daylight Modelling, Light Modelling, Thermal Modelling & Energy Consumption. We can undertake Energy Efficiency Studies & Modelling & Energy Auditing. We are NABER/ABGR accredited.


      What high profile projects has EST undertaken?

      School of Architecture Inveresk EST designed & documented the building services & provided sustainable solutions for lighting, heating, cooling & water reuse. Cimitiere House Cimitiere house is a unique project for Tasmania. It is the first Tasmanian Project registered with the Green Building Council of Australia Australian Bulk Minerals As part of the Australian Bulk Minerals, Savage River Mine extensions EST provided all the electrical & Mechanical building services design works.
