How much will it cost to automate my garage door?
Depending on the type of garage door you have (and the features you would like), we can automate most garage doors for between $425 - $495.00. We only use high-quality brand openers that have a proven track record.
Help, my garage door won't open!
If you have an automated garage door, first try and disengage the door from the opener. Look for a pull-cord or small lever which will release your door. If you can then lift your door by hand, the problem will be related to your opener. If your door is too heavy to lift, then you may have a broken torsion spring. Please call us on 0437 461 882. We can advise you and give you a free repair price estimate over the phone.
My garage door remote is not working.
It's possible (although rare), that a remote simply needs to be reprogrammed. Feel free to download our guide to programming garage door remotes. If it's only one remote that isn't working, it may simply be due to a flat battery. Most remote batteries can be purchased in the battery section of your local supermarket, and cost around $5.00. We recommend try this and call us for advice on 0437 461 882 if it still doesn't work.
How much do you charge to repair a garage door?
Our service and call-out charge is $99.00 and covers the first 45mins of labour. Most garage door repairs can be resolved for this price. If your issue is more serious, we simply discuss your options and give you a free quote so you can decide how you would like to proceed.
Help! My garage door is jammed at an odd angle. What do I do?
The best thing is to stay safe. We recommend you stay clear and don't attempt to repair it yourself and call us on 0437 461 882. A cable may have come loose, leaving your door in a precarious position. Your door is extremely heavy and under massive tension, so this could be a very dangerous situation, but can usually be remedied by us for only $99.00.
My garage door remote is not working, even after I replaced the battery.
This could mean one of several things. Your remote control may be faulty, or worse: the circuit board in your opener may have failed. This could possibly be an expensive repair and difficult to diagnose without experience. We carry a range of remote controls and replacement circuit boards. If you call us with the brand of your opener, we can advise you the best course of action.
My garage door is quite old. Can it be automated?
Usually, yes! A large part of our business is automating old tilt doors, roller doors and panel-lift doors. Sometimes an old roller door can be tricky to automate if there is insufficient clearance for an opener, or if it doesn't operate very well. You are welcome to call for advice if you have any questions.
