      Max Dunn started erecting timber fences in 1968 as a sub-contractor. Joined by Phillip Farrugia in 1971 the partnership of Dunn & Farrugia was formed.

With Max Dunn at the helm and joined by Jacqui Dunn in 1998 – Dunn & Farrugia Fencing and Gates has grown over the last 50 years with the support of our loyal, dedicated staff and our suppliers. Today we employ over 160 local staff and contract to many local contractors who are proud to be a part of our family. Son Adam Dunn joined the business in 2015 at the age of 16 and Ryan will be joining the business this year at the age of 16. Kurtis aged 9 helps out when he’s saving for a new pushbike… As a young boy who moved to the big smoke from Quambone a small town in NSW. Max Dunn started erecting timber fences in 1968 as a subcontractor mostly doing sub division work in St Marys. Max was paid just 10c per foot of fencing he erected. Joined by Phillip Farrugia in 1971 the partnership of Dunn & Farrugia was formed. Phillips backyard in Cambridge Park was the original site. As the business grew larger, premises were rented in Regentville Road Penrith. Max bought Phillips share in 1985 and pushed on growing the name and reputation of Dunn & Farrugia. Between Preston Street and Regentville Road in Penrith Valley, we now occupy 7 acres, which is our Head Office and Manufacturing plant. Our Sales, Admin, Distribution and Manufacturing team have you our Customers interest at heart. We are here to serve you. We have taken the basic and made it perfect to give you a product that protects while enhancing your home or business. Our Factory – Our Industry Experience Dunn & Farrugia have the management capability and manufacturing and distribution capacity to successfully complete any small or large program of works both quickly and professionally. Our manufacturing plant here in Penrith occupies 7 acres where we design, assemble, manufacture and powder coat many kilometres of fencing daily. With the network of our own branches located in the strategic locations of Minchinbury, Brookvale, Smeaton Grange, Cardiff, West Gosford, Nowra, Albion Park, Queanbeyan and Dubbo and our network of stockists and resellers, we project manage hundreds of projects ranging in value from less than a thousand to hundreds of thousands of dollars. With the majority of our products manufactured here in Penrith and the backup of products we directly import we have the capacity to offer you a range of services from an in-store consultation to an onsite free measure and quote.       This team know fencing

      Every stage from email enquiry to quote to colour checking to installation was seamless. Excellent team. They know the products and the options. I have used Dunn and Farrugia before and will use them again.

      Just had gates installed. Great service and job of installation .IF ONLY I knew about this company before I had my
      fence installed. I didn't know this company was around. I have used word of mouth to advertise for your company. Maybe
      some advertising on T.V would be beneficial. A lot of people don't know your company exists. Anyway I am happy with the price and service. Thankyou Jann

      Just had new front gates installed and automated by three very thorough people who know their trade. I am very satisfied with the job. I have purchased fencing previosly that I have installed and always recieved excellent service. If you want the job done right, use Dunn & Farrugia!

      Horrible, horrible, horrible!!!
      Takes more than two months to manufacture very small product. Called again to find out where the order is and lovely lady Simone literally replied that she doesn't care that we are not happy about the wait.What a rubbish organisation!
