What does a ride on mower repair involve?
Electrical component testing and replacement e.g. motor, stator, regulator/rectifier and ignition coils. Carburetor clean, blade spindle assembly replacement, pulley's replaced, belts, transmission, gearbox repair or replacement, transmission drive belt and pulley replacement, bushes, bearing, blade deck repairs, steering and flat tyres. Welding the machine has to be taken back to workshop.
How much does it cost to service my ride on mower?
The cost includes $165 + parts + call out fee (guideline only). Call Out Fee Ranges From $44.00 to $77.00 Per Visit.
Why does my ride on mower battery always go flat?
The most common reason for a battery to go flat is from the ride on mower not being used. The best solution for this common occurrence is to introduce a fully automatic battery charger (RRP $130.00 approx.) when the ride on mower is not in use. This will keep your battery charged and in good working condition.
What does a ride on mower service involve?
The service includes oil and oil filter change, spark plugs, air filter, pre-cleaner, fuel filter, check fuel hoses, check fuel clamps, blades replaced, cutting deck belt check, tyre pressures checked, grease front end and deck spindles if required and battery testing.

Zero turn needed a belt replacing, pulley replacing and new blades. Was advised before hand of parts needed and was able to fetch myself in advance from John Deere Beaudesert.
This was done well and quick on-site.

I sent Glen a note late at night on a weekend as I had issues with my mower. The next morning Glen messaged me back and we chatted first via text and Glen to save me money and time, sent through some manual diagrams and guides on how to address the problem myself if possible. Not being mechanically savvy, Glen and I set up and time and he arrived early, fixed and serviced my mower. Very happy with both service and price!

I sent a text enquiring as to their availability, I was polite and explained my situation and signed off with name and suburb. All i got back was 'no time today'. I was surprised there was no effort to potentially help me out on another day or anything so i asked if there is any chance of another day or if they just weren't interested. They then ignored that and asked for the mower brand to which i gave them, and got the response 'I don't work on that brand'.
No questions to help, no suggestions and zero interest. Business must be good in the mobile mower repair game at the moment with below par service like that.

Glen has restored my faith in small engine mechanics. I have had drama after rip off after drama trying to get my ride on fixed. His knowledge is outstanding and his patience with me hovering around and asking silly questions was much appreciated. I would not hesitate to recommend his services as he will now be taking car of all my mower repairs.

Called this person to fix our JohnDeere ride on mower, when he came out, he told my husband that it needed a new sellonoid which he didn’t have and did not offer to source the part or to come back to fit it.
He then charged my husband $100 for a very short visit. My husband paid in cash, and he gave no receipt or invoice.
I called him to ask why he didn’t try to fix the mower and he was aggressive and told me that I should have been “down there” if I wanted any input and that our mower wasn’t any good anyway. He then told me that “this conversation is over” and hung up on me.

After spending hundreds of dollars and numerous return visits to a mower shop in Capalaba, it was distressing me that my mower was still far from operating properly. Before I spent any more money, I knew I had to find a new mower mechanic. I Googled mobile mower mechanics and found G&T Ritchie. I can safely say, it's the best thing I ever did!! After just two visits, my mower is operating at it's best. Glen is incredibly knowledgable and was able to explain things as he went. I found them to offer good old fashioned service at it's best. When Glen handed me the bill, I was really happy as it was very reasonable. It was stressful not knowing whether I was going to be able to start the mower or not. I cannot thank Glen enough for his prompt, professional & honest approach to doing business.
I happily recommend G&T Ritchie to anyone who requires small engine repairs and maintenance.
