DR PHILIP MOSS is a Sydney University Graduate with 20 years experience in the Royal Australian Air Force before coming to work in the Blue Mountains. He has maintained a wide and various range of skills including cosmetic and implant dentistry.

What is your main priority?

What payment details do you accept?
We accept payments by HICAPS, cash, cheque, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Bartercard. Full payment at the time of treatment is required.
Can I have dentures fitted or adjusted?
We can organise new dentures and in most cases do any adjustments. Immediate denture are also a speciality. If necessary we can organise a specialist to do repairs in Katoomba.
Can I have Implants done?
Yes we do all aspects of implants from the surgery to dentures or crowns and their maintenance. We have available the latest mini implants which have maximised the retention of loose full and partial dentures. Dentures stay in place when eating and all other times.
Do you do root canal work?
Yes we do all types of root canal treatment and if necessary can refer to specialists if required.

Yes, we work by appointment.
Do you use digital radiographs / X rays?
Yes. Katoomba Dental Centre has a qualified Dental Radiographer who can take large OPG and Cone Beam Ct radiographs on site with the latest digital machine, which is the only one of its kind in the Blue Mountains. In addition the Dental Surgeons use intra oral digital radiographs. This allows diagnostic information to be available instantly and a very low exposure to X rays compared to the other traditional methods.
Is parking available?
Yes. Parking is on the premises or opposite at the new Coles shopping centre.
Can i have tooth coloured fillings and not Mercury amalgam black fillings?
Yes. We do not use the old technology mercury amalgam fillings. We specialise in tooth coloured fillings that are bonded to your teeth that not only look and feel great but are not toxic.
Do you have wheelchair access and accept patients with disabilities?
Yes. We have wheelchair access to all surgeries and accept patients with disabilities.
