      Dr Augustino (Gus) Clark is a vitreoretinal and cataract surgeon. Following a research fellowship at the Sydney Eye Hospital, Gus completed his ophthalmology training in New Zealand. He then undertook a further 2 years of specialised vitreoretinal fellowships in Brisbane and Italy. His main interests are retinal, macula and cataract surgery.

      What do I need to bring to my appointment?

      Bring your current glasses, a list of your current medications, a referral letter from your local doctor or optometrist if this has not already been sent, your Medicare, health fund and pension/concession card details.

      Can I drive myself to my appointment?

      No, your eyes will need to be dilated in order for the specialists to be able to assess your eyes. The drops used to dilate the eye can take approximately 2 hours to wear off and it is not safe to drive during this time. You should anticipate that your eyes will be dilated at every appointment. If you have driven to your appointment it is important to let the staff know.
