      We are located in Lismore and generally provide our services throughout Lismore and surrounding areas. We are specialising in anaesthesia services and provide comprehensive anaesthetic services for all operations.

      We have years of experience in providing anaesthesia services. We have assembled a team of qualified and professional doctors. Our aim is to ensure that all of our patients get professional and reliable treatment. At Northern Rivers Anaesthesia, our Anaesthetists are Specialist Doctors who have completed a Medical Degree, and then a minimum of 5 years of training in the Specialty of Anaesthesia.

Anaesthetists are primarily responsible for your safety and well-being before, during, and after surgery.

      This type of anaesthesia produces unconsciousness so that you will not feel, see, or hear anything during the surgical procedure. The anaesthetic medications are administered via an intravenous line or through the facemask or breathing tube. These medications produce a state of unconsciousness, where your vital functions are supported by your anaesthesia specialist. Your Anaesthetist is also an expert in the use of pain relieving medications and specific pain relieving techniques for the control of postoperative pain.
