      Last year, I had Hicks replace my inlet manifold & valley gaskets due to oil leaking out of the valley gasket(s) and oilgetting into the coolant(no, it wasn't a blown head gasket, this is a common problem with ECOTEC/V6 Commodore engines). Not a drop of oil has leaked since and no vacuum leaks, so they did the job properly. *Just a tip - if you have leaky inlet manifold gaskets, make sure you use the metalones to replace them, or they will fail again down the track (original are plastic).

      Last week, I had my catalytic converters replaced, requiring cutting and welding. They did a superb job, I couldn't be happier.I also had them do a few other things that didn't really need doing, but I believe in preventative maintenance...

      Today, I picked my car up, after having afair bit of work done- rear main seal (plate also), high pressure power steering hose and a few other things.Again, they've done a good job.

      Every time I've been to Hicks *everyone* I have spoken to has been friendly and courteous.

      Overall, all of my experiences with Hicks have been positive and I highly recommend them.

      Cost came in under quote which tells me Ive finally found an honest mechanic. After being ripped off a few times elsewhere, this was a big stress of my shoulders and am so thankful I tried them! Thank you!

      They asked us to drop off our van at 8.30am, by 12 they still hadnt looked at it and said they had a load more cars to see before us. Why book is in then?? Came back to our van at 4pm after we hadnt heard anything from them to find it parked unlocked and windows wide open. Mechanic hadnt done anything with it as he was waiting to ask me a question.... No phone call. We jas already answered hos question when we dropped it off but the receptionist didnt bother to record it. Walked away 8 hours later, with no fix and a waste of a day.

      I will be using Hicks Automotive from now on for all my servicing needs. I just had a few things done and was shocked at the bill...shocked at how cheap it was! Also fantastic customer service - I was offered a lift home after dropping off my car, but didn't need it. I was however picked up from home to collect my car, saving a taxi fare. I can't recommend Hicks Automotive highly enough. Thanks Hicks Automotive, I'll be back!

      Dumped me back with my car on friday evening and as it was too much work they said and wouldn't even do the twin exhaust system i asked for. I was driving through sydney CBD at the time. Thanks for the headache.
