Unnecessarily rude, waited 6 weeks for car

Came here to get our sunroof repaired, which all started out well. However things quickly turned sour and I honestly have no idea why.



Within the first week of having our car, Mischa let us know that an assessor from our insurance company had been booked, but she kept emphasising they said they will be here the following Monday, reiterating 3 times "that's what they say". So like anyone, I was concerned if they turned up or not, and I called on the Tuesday to check if they turned up. Great news they had, but Mischa seemed a little annoyed I checked and emphasised to me this was not going to be a quick process, it could take up to 3 weeks.



We called at the start of each week to check on the progress otherwise we didn't know where things were up too cause no one was contacting us. Everytime we called, we would politely ask how everything is going, and Mischa would be rude and repeat it's not going to be a quick process and wouldn't tell us anything about the actual progress.



After 3 weeks, we asked again, Mischa became ruder telling us it's our fault it's their in the first place and we should be more careful when driving. Completely unwarranted as we were polite the entire time, just wanted to know what's going on. We never complained how long it was taking or used a demanding tone to know where it was, which alot of customers would do.



From this point we contacted my insurance company, who let us know it had not been started on yet, and that it had to go somewhere else to have the sunroof removed because custom sunroofs don't remove sunroofs?

I don't understand how a sunroof place can't remove a sunroof?



After 2 more weeks, we rang again and just got the same attitude, all she said was waiting on more parts, can't tell you how long and hung up. So we contacted insurance again, and it was a price of plastic to cover a screw, so the insurance organised for us to pick up our car and go back to get the plastic once it arrived.



That took 2 more weeks, so glad we didn't have to wait 8 weeks for this this, I think 6 weeks was excessive enough.



In short, would not recommend this repairer and definitely wouldn't use again. I don't know what's happened to customer service these days but this place certainly doesn't have it.
