As far as Im aware, Dymocks on Collins Street is the last big book store left in Melbourne. Ever since Borders shut down and many other book stores have followed suit its become really hard for book lovers to find a big store to browse and find the books theyre after.
Now dont get me wrong, Im a big fan of online retail. But sometimes you just cant beat the experience of shopping in person, and for me books can fall into that category too. Its nice to know theres still one large place left I can go.

I hadnt been into Dymocks for quite some time, but due to the other closures around the city I popped my head in last week. This is a great book store. Was pleasantly surprised that they had most things that I was searching for, and best thing is I was able to begin reading on my way home instead of waiting for my online order to arrive.
