Manchester Unity Dental Centre is one of the longest established dental practices in the Melbourne CBD and is proud to continue providing top quality dental care.
Whether your goal is to maintain a healthy mouth, treat existing problems, cosmetic improvements, or replacing missing teeth, we work with you to formulate a plan to suit your needs. We provide a broad scope of dental care, including: maintenance and disease prevention; treatment for tooth decay and gum disease; root canal treatment; crown and bridge work; implant dentistry; whitening, veneers and other cosmetic improvements; extractions and minor oral surgery; emergency pain management.
We recognise & respect that every person has differing specific needs. In most cases, there is more than one option. While we will recommend ideal options depending on your goal, all options are still offered. Any particular concerns should be discussed and we will adapt treatment to accommodate these needs. Some patients have: aesthetic requirements; medical issues; previous experiences; dental anxiety; financial constraints; appointment time requirements. These all require specific attention.

Where are you located?
We are situated in the heart of Melbourne city, on the corner of Collins and Swanston streets. Our address is suites 409 & 707 of 220 Collins Street.
I'm very anxious when I go to the dentists, what options do you have to keep me at ease?
We have wraparound glasses, which gives the effect of a virtual 80 inch cinema screen, suspended in space, letting you enjoy movies during treatment, with rich, stereophonic sound. We also offer Nitrous Oxide Gas, Hypnosis and, as a last resort, Intravenous Sedation.
Do you offer payment plans?
We offer payment plans for complex treatments, and accept health assist.
What about if I have private health insurance?
We use HICAPS electronic claims, which enables on-the-spot health fund benefits claims, EFTPOS, and all credit cards.
What brand of implants do you use?
We use Nobel Biocare implants, fixtures and protocols exclusively.
