How often should I have a check-up at the dentist?

At Evans Dental, we like to prevent dental problems by recommending regular 6 monthly dental visits. This enables us to detect early signs of disease which can then be treated before they become serious.

What is preventative dentistry?

Preventative dentistry intends to manage the health of your teeth, preventing dental problems. Regular brushing, flossing, dental cleaning, eating a healthy diet and maintaining good hygiene all go a long way to ensuring your smile stays healthy for longer.

Are my teeth healthy?

Various factors indicate the health of your teeth and gums. Red, swollen or bleeding gums are signs of gum disease. Decay is more likely to set in if your teeth are chipped or cracked, so these imperfections should be treated quickly.
