Absolute joke company was quoted $1600 for a move from a single garage size storage to a 3 bed apartment the job was no more than 4 hours they was paid in advance for the job after the job was completed was told they would issue the remaining funds back since then numbers have been blocked the person I spoke to is quite a rude and the bloke who apparently owns the company looked dodgy been near 3 weeks and they still haven't refunded the $800 dollars back DO NOT BOTHER WITH THIS COMPANY SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE

This company is abhorrent, rude, disrespectful, damages the property moving in, leaves half a job, over charges and then when you make formal complaints is insulting, dismissive and disrespectful. The worst company I have dealt with.

Do not use this company!! The removalist came 2 hours late and when they arrived it was a man and a 15 year old apprentice. After 5 hours I was charged $1,143.
After paying I contacted to make a complaint about the price, as I was charged for 2 x men and not 1 x man and 1 apprentice. The response I got back from I assume the owner was very rude and immature. He was trying to make the complaint about gender or race, it had nothing to do with that. I was always polite and I truly believed I should have received a discounted price for the 15 year apprentice. Please save your money and use another company.

No, no trade business says “hi I’m bring an apprentice” or “we’re coming with 2 x 34 year old men”.
It’s strange you’re so desperate chasing some refund for months.
Your job was done, there were zero damages and if you or your husband worked, that was your choice and made the job quicker and your invoice less.
We have females work for the business too. We hire a wide range of people of race, gender and otherwise.
Our price is for a “team of movers” and truck. Refer to our quote.
You received a team.
We can go back and forth, but there will be no refund.
It’s like asking for a cheaper Cheeseburger because a 14 year old at McDonald’s made it and not the manager. Business doesn’t work like that.

I was extremely happy with Elite Removalosts.I was recommended them by someone on a Facebook group when I posted looking for Removalists. The guys who came were gentlemen, took care of my items and the move was done promptly and ended up much cheaper than I anticipated.

From excitement to doubt, and ultimately to extreme disappointment. My wife and I used Elite Removalist's packing, moving, and unpacking services in the mid of September 2024.
Starting with the positives, we were quite happy with the packing/unpacking service. My wife especially noticed the professionalism and efficiency of the senior mover, which stood out. The quality of the packing service felt like it matched their claim of being "the best moving service on the Gold Coast."
Now for the moving day itself — we had scheduled an 8 AM start, with everything (including unpacking) set to be completed by the evening. Both my wife and I took the day off from work to ensure the process would go smoothly. However, to our shock, we waited at home until 5 PM before they finally arrived. The reason? A broken truck. And to make matters worse, we only found out about this after repeatedly chasing them for updates. I can’t help but wonder if they would have informed us at all had we not constantly followed up throughout the day. Luckily, the workers did manage to complete the move that evening, so while I was upset with the communication, I is ok to give some grace for working out this, considering the challenges. That said, I now question whether such poor communication truly reflects the “best” moving service on the Gold Coast.
After the move, I promptly paid for the services in full (service fees + GST), no discounts asked. Yet here we are, two weeks later, and I still haven't received any tax invoices or receipts. I’ve called more than three times, each time being assured that the matter would be handled immediately — only to receive nothing. The tipping point came on the last day of September. I called once again to inquire about my missing documents. In the middle of rasing the issue, the call was abruptly hung up. Initially, I thought it was a connection problem, so I called back — several times. Each call went unanswered. I tried from a different number, and the phone was picked up instantly. But as soon as I said a word, it was hung up again. Now, when I try calling from my number, I’m sent straight to voicemail. I suspect I’ve been blacklisted.
At this point, I’m planning to consult with my company’s legal department since they require the tax documentation for reimbursement. If anyone has had similar experiences, feel free to contact me — perhaps we can file a joint complaint.
To anyone considering Elite Removalist, please think twice. Don’t be fooled by their Google ranking. Rankings are just a reflection of how much they’ve spent on advertising, not their actual reputation.

We had booked elite removalists to move our 4 bdr house, 2 kids and a dog, on a Friday. They just never showed up! I had email confirmation of the booking. Phoned at least a dozen times, only answered once and was told they could see our booking, they would look into what happened and call us back but they never did! Di not book with them!

LIke the other reviewer in this page - I concur!!! Where to start well... If I could give zero stars I would. Im a 60 year old quiet and polite person so today I was 'blessed' with a rather odd fiasco with a very rude, impolite driver with a solid lack of basic people skills. He was remarkably underskilled in the ability to engage in a normal 2 way conversation! So...if you want someone who doesnt turn up, doesn't have the courtesy to call then is disgustingly awful go for it. I cant even begin to write how bad this experience was. Rude, unprofessional, talks - no - shouts - over you when you try to talk like a verbal steamroller destined to ruin your day. Doesnt seem to be able to have a normal conversation or maybe the listening skills are just so incredibly poor it makes for a truly awful experience and a house full of furniture still waiting to be moved. Suggest the company does a retrain on communication skills and courtesy instead of supporting their employees who excel at rudeness and lies. Total fail but I dont blame the actual company, the office staff seem fine and this job may have been outsourced, however if this is who they have representing their business they need a serious rethink on preventing this happening to another customer. By the way, if you really want to annoy 60 year old female customer whilst you give a glowing example of your inability to converse in a normal manner just pepper that with calling her 'darlin' whilst shouting and steamrolling your one sided rant whilst you make up excuses for your lack of professionalism. Booked another company straight away. I actually didnt cancel at all - I was abused and in shock at the treatment from this individual so simply said, 'this isnt going to work' whilst i gently pressed the end button on my phone wondering...well....what on earth just happened!

Elite moved my belongings from a minimalist 2 bedroom appt in Broadbeach (1 bed only) to a house garage in Benowa.
It cost me $1,596!!
It took extra time as the building lift was a problem and they had to park some distance away.
BUT
The truck was way too small and so had to make 2 trips. It looked more like a delivery
truck than a removalist. No writing on the it.
That took about hour and a half, maybe 2 hrs (money, money time) $175/hr.
They didn't dismantle the bed base slats. Some slats are in the sides, some are out.
When they'd had enough, they finished.
They didn't take any of the 4 lounge seat or back cushions.
The cushions filled up more than half of my car.
When I complained, the office woman said they didn't take them because they'd get dirty!
I still did 4 full loads in my car. A friend took some things in her people carrier.
The men were friendly and pleasant but not great.

: not so much once she'd been paid.
NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE
I haven't seen much of the furniture yet. It's stacked any which way.
Damage? There will be some.
