General Info

If you need any kind of legal assistance or advice from experienced lawyers, then the best option for you is Maclarens Lawyers.

Established in 1945, Maclarens Lawyers has serviced the legal needs of Western Sydney for over 65 years and continues to offer high-quality advice to the rapidly expanding region. Today the firm offers a complete range of legal services to both corporate and individual clients - similar in scope to that of a city-based firm.

Looking for trusted solicitors to help you with any kind of legal requirement in Merrylands and the surrounding suburbs? Then, Maclarens Lawyers is the best choice for you and the people of the area when it comes to personal and business legal issues. We have been operating in this field since 1945. Over 75 years of experience has made us familiar with the ins and outs of the local laws and regulations thoroughly. We are big enough to handle the cases of large corporations but small enough to help people with their personal matters too.

We provide all kinds of commercial and personal legal services including corporate and commercial law, commercial and retail leasing, commercial disputes, buying and selling businesses, projects, building, and construction, trust law, intellectual property, family law services, property and conveyancing, wills, probates, and estate, personal injury, immigration, all court work including criminal, traffic, and civil, public notary, and more. We also provide pro bono services to many local charities, community organisations, and clubs.

Our proactive, customer-centric approach not only ensures that your needs are met in a way most beneficial to you in the short and long run but also creates lasting relationships with our clients that reinforce the faith they have in us. Our solicitors are fully qualified and possess years of experience. However, what sets them apart is their ability to explain the matter in simple language to the clients so that they can understand and contribute at all times. Do you provide value for money?

Being a local practice means that we can avoid the large overheads of many city-based firms and offer high-quality advice at very reasonable rates. We also have a long-standing, loyal and very stable team of professional staff which means that we are not paying to replace and retrain staff on a frequent basis and can maintain our expertise at lower rates.

What are your service areas?

Besides Merrylands, we serve Parramatta, Fairfield, Wetherill Park, Granville, Greystanes, Guildford, and Smithfield.

Do you have accessible and approachable lawyers?

Big enough to cope with the demands of large organisations, but small enough to provide a close personal service to individual clients. At Maclarens Lawyers, we take pride in the fact that we can really get to know our clients and understand their legal needs. We take the time to build strong, lasting client relationships that reflect our commitment to saving client time and money. This allows us to act pro-actively, rather than reactively, and avoid legal issues arising in the first place.

Why should we choose Maclarens Lawyers?

Many businesses and families initially think that they have to travel into the city to get the best legal advice - until they visit Maclarens Lawyers. At Maclarens Lawyers, we have the expertise, knowledge and experience to help you, combined with an understanding of local issues. We know the local business environment, the issues facing local families and individuals and we are conveniently located in the heart of Merrylands, close to the Parramatta CBD and the relevant courts.

I had short 3 phone calls with one of the lawyers enquiring about my case of dispute with a building company. After the lawyer sent the engagement letter and the cost plan, I decided not to accept it as it was over my budget. 2 months later I received a bill for around $1000! Which I am disputing with cost assessment sector. I am so disappointed as I felt that the solicitor has overcharged me. Could you get charged that much without even meeting the solicitor, signing any cost consent or being informed about the cost?
