To empower individuals in Mildura by providing essential services, fostering independence, and enhancing quality of life for all.
Sunassist is a not for profit community organisation which commenced providing services to the elderly and disabled in the Mildura community in 1981. The organisation was started by a group of community minded people in the year of the Disabled 1981 that recognised a need for Community Transport for people with disabilities. As a result the Sunassist service was established.
Sunassist Volunteer Helpers Incorporated is a not-for-profit community organisation that has been supporting the Mildura community since 1981. Dedicated to enhancing the lives of the elderly, disabled, and young people, Sunassist offers a variety of essential services, including community transport, meals on wheels, all-hours transport, Safewill, social outings, assisted shopping, pet transportation to the vet, the L2P programme, friendly gardening, and home maintenance. Over the years, we have helped individuals live independently, offering tailored support. Call us!
