To deliver person centred support and creative ideas that assist people with disabilities to reach their desired goals.
Our core services are to provide individualised supports for seniors and people with disabilities including their families to reach their potential, have positive life experiences and achieve their life goals. To assist, we: Offer a life long support for people with disabilities, beginning as young as five, through to the twilight years. Offer a full suite of services and accommodation options including: respite (emergency and planned), supported accommodation, independent living, training, educational programs, recreation and social opportunities to connect within the community. Deliver services in a wide range of locations and settings including (but not limited to) - client homes, SRS Respite and in the community, 24 hours, 7 days a week (excluding some public holidays).

How does this work?
Contributions made to SRS have and continue to yield highly visible results, with ongoing improvement to currently established respite and care facilities, as well as our School Holiday programs and support services out in the community and in peoples' homes.
What are the options?
Respite is planned and is usually ongoing. Emergency respite is also available. In your home respite, this could involve cooking, gardening or some meaningful task to the person for who you are caring for. In our home respite. Out in the community, which could involve shopping, visiting a coffee shop, participating in community activities, visiting parks and gardens. Holiday respite: you decide where and when; we help make it possible.
Who is eligible for this service?
Respite under this program is available to people who care for someone who has dementia, is frail aged, is a stroke survivor, has a life threatening illness or disability, is over the age of 64 years. Respite services can be utilised weekly, fortnightly or monthly. Hours of support are flexible to suit your needs.
