      Ian McKinnon founded Scuba World in 1979 as a small, modest dive shop in Toowong, Brisbane. 34 years on Scuba World has grown into one of the leading dive shops in Australia.

      Scuba World employs 14 highly qualified and experienced staff, has a custom built 11.3 metre (38ft) naiad rigid hull inflatable boat, an onsite heated training pool, state of the art rental equipment and a stunning showroom located on the beautiful Wharf in Mooloolaba, Sunshine Coast, Australia.

      What will your open water diver certification allow you to do?

      Scuba dive safely to 18 metres.


      How often do you conduct open water diver courses?

      Two times a month. Personal courses can be conducted by request.
