Avoid Barwon Health Pysch services especially the Swanston centre and the BMHT. This mob unjustly makes someone involuntary and then abuses them to the point they try and kill themselves while an inpatient (were not suicidal before) and through mismanagement give them PTSD and then provide little to no support to help them recover. I have found their mindset and skills are totally inadequate and inappropriate and believe it or not, I have been trying to speak with them since 2019 to guide them in the best practice of patients so that pthers can avoid PTSD while in their care, but they are not interested. Psychiatrists, registrars and psych nurses stick together and simply lie to cover up their inadequacies as "professionals". The Swanston centre should be shut down and a major overhaul on treatment protocol and new guidelines developed to stop creating severe PTSD in patients and unnecessary deaths. If you have been unlucky enough to be diagnosed by them, rest assured there is only a 20% chance that their label is correct.
