Degree C was first established in Tasmania in the 1960s as a branch of a national industrial refrigeration company. Since then, Degree C has grown to become the leading multi-trade contracting company in Tasmania. Locally owned since 1990, Degree C was acquired by Fairbrother Pty Ltd in 2006 and now provides a wide range of products and services to residential, commercial and industrial customers.
With its six different business streams, Degree C offers a wide range of building-industry services – to both residential and commercial clients. Degree C covers the whole of Tasmania, thanks to its ideally located offices in Ulverstone, Launceston and Hobart – allowing it to meet the delivery and support needs of its clients, no matter their location. Our management structure is perfectly aligned to our delivery model and geographic spread and is populated by industry professionals with a wealth of knowledge and experience in their fields. Our Board of Directors provide general direction and governance, enabling our General Manager and his management team to focus on the job at hand.
Degree C’s Integrated Management System deals with quality, occupational health, safety and environmental risk management as integral aspects of the way we work. We directly employ a team of professionals to provide support, monitor compliance and drive continuous improvement in relation to work health and safety.
