Can I run cooling through my heating ducts?
You can add a refrigerated add-on system to a heating system, but generally it requires an upgrade to the ductwork.
Is heating through the ceiling effective?
Yes, the majority of new homes these days are build on slabs, so most new systems are through the ceiling. Round heating diffuser help force the warm air down.
Do you sell floor vents?

What is the advantage of a multi head split system?
The main advantage is that you only have to have one outdoor unit to service a multiple number of indoor units.
How easy is it to replace my basic heating controller with a programmable one?
Most people are able to do it themselves generally there are only 2x24 volt wires that can be transferred across.
How much would I hope to save by installing a D.I.Y heating kit?
For a standard 7 outlet system you would save around $500 to $600.
How can I organise a price on a D.I.Y Kit?
Feel free to send in a floor plan. If you can mark on it where you want the heater to go and probable duct locations, then we'll be able to work out a duct design and price of that.
What are the advantages of evaporative cooling?
Evaporative cooling is very cheap to run, can cool the whole house at one time and allows you to open windows and door in the middle of summer.
What is the running cost difference between an evaporative and refrigerated system?
An evaporative system would cost around $1 per day, whilst a refrigerated system could cost $5 to $10 per day.
How much can I expect to save on running costs by choosing a 5 star heater over a 3 star?
According to the manufacturers you should save anywhere between $50 to $300 per year depending on the size of the unit.
