Eureka Tower Skydeck

This is one amazing view of Melbourne. You can see in every direction, and view arrears not previously available from other locations. The edge experience is something you will never forget. Feels like walking on air and is not for the faint hearted. Totally nerve racking but awesome all the same. Great experience all round.

The Eureka experience has taken over from the Rialto tower as Melbournes high viewing point (the Rialto Sky Deck is now closed and re-purposed). Your opinion on the experience will depend on how you handle heights but it undeniably has the best view of Melbourne (from 80 floors up) and I find it a useful way to orient overseas visitors to how Melbourne is laid out.

The Eureka skydeck lets you see out 360 degrees to all around Melbourne. Its open day and night so you can different aspects of the skyline. You can pay extra to go out on The Edge. Its a glass cube that sticks out of the building and when you are standing in it the glass floor clears and you can see straight down.
