Founded by property industry professional Kimon Kalligas, Fresh Space was created to provide property owners a one-stop-shop for painting, home maintenance and repairs. In today’s market, having a beautifully presented home is the only way to ensure a positive outcome when you are selling or seeking new tenants. Our network of professionals will help you by providing fast, quality improvements. Kimon and the team have decades of experience in painting and property maintenance. It’s our goal to make preparing your property for sale, your next tenant or a needed refresh a seamless, stress-free and cost-effective experience.

Fresh Space offers light handyman services to complement our painting, making property prep seamless. We handle plaster repairs, hole patching, caulking, door handle replacements, sticky doors, vent cover swaps, and repainting front doors or cabinetry. It’s the small touches that help create a polished, market-ready space. We do the tasks that other trades would tend to avoid as they are not deemed as worthwhile to invest their time.

Fresh Space offers select custom furniture pieces that enhance a home’s character and appeal — especially in empty or uninspiring spaces. How long will the job take, and can you work around my open home or photography schedule?

(Absolutely) I understand how important timing is during a sale or lease period. I work quickly and efficiently, and can coordinate with your agent or stylist to ensure everything is ready for photography and inspections on time.


Will you clean up after the work is done?

Absolutely. A clean, tidy finish is part of the job. I leave your space ready for the next stage — whether that’s styling, photography, or a final walk-through with a prospective buyer.


Can you recommend other services, like stylists or cleaners?

Definitely. Over the years, I’ve built great relationships with local stylists, cleaners, and trades. If you need someone reliable, I’m happy to point you in the right direction — or even coordinate things for you if that helps. Where I can't help you myself I can definitely recommend skill craftspeople to provide you solutions.


Do I need to move furniture or prep the space before you start?

I always appreciate a clear workspace, but I’ll guide you through exactly what needs to be done. For larger jobs, I can help shift furniture or cover surfaces as needed. I aim to make the process as easy and low-stress as possible. In many cases I have been invited to paint when houses are clear of furniture.


What makes you different from other painters?

I bring a creative edge and property prep mindset to every job. With a background in graphic design, I see space through a buyer’s eyes — not just a brush. I help you tell a visual story that connects emotionally, not just covers walls.


Can you match the existing colour, or should I repaint the whole area?

I can colour-match most existing walls if you just need touch-ups. But I’ll also let you know if a full repaint would give a cleaner, more consistent result — especially if the goal is to present the property at its best.


What kind of properties have you worked on before?

I’ve worked on everything from investment units and family homes to commercial tenancies and luxury properties preparing for auction. I know what adds value in different markets — and how to tailor each job to the space. I began by career working on large scale projects at educational institutions.


Are you insured and do you guarantee your work?

Yes — Fresh Space is fully insured, and I take pride in delivering quality work you can count on. If anything needs attention after the job, I’m only ever a phone call away and will make it right.


Can you help me decide what areas actually need painting or updating?

Yes — that’s part of what I do best. I’ll walk through the space with you and advise on what will make the biggest impact for your budget. Sometimes a full repaint isn’t needed — just strategic updates to create a fresh, cohesive feel that helps buyers fall in love.


Do you offer package deals for multiple services, like painting and repairs?

Yes, I do. I can bundle painting with plaster repairs, deck refinishing, and light handyman tasks to save you time and hassle. I’ll create a customised quote based on exactly what your property needs. It will allow you to control how your property is presented to your guests or to prospective property buyers.
