General Info

Delivering durable, innovative, and sustainable Australian-made polyethylene water tanks for diverse industries and environments.

Starting in 1998 as a family business Global has grown from a small part time venture into a large national company with factories in Victoria and Queensland. Global Roto Moulding Pty Ltd began trading in 1999 as Mildura Roto-Moulding. At that time, our product range included a number of small tanks and a range of custom moulded machine parts.

Global Roto Mouldings Pty Ltd in Irymple provides specialised polyethylene tank solutions for water storage and liquid transport across domestic, industrial, agricultural, and mining sectors. We offer end-to-end support, from advanced design and engineering to quality control and efficient delivery. Our tanks are built to handle potable water, wastewater, fuel, and chemicals in harsh Australian environments. With a focus on durability, safety, and compliance, we deliver reliable tank systems tailored to diverse storage needs and industry standards.

Our water tank range includes slimline tanks for urban settings, robust above-ground tanks for farms, and heavy-duty underground tanks for discreet water management. Modular tanks range from 550L to 1000L and can be expanded to fit any volume requirement. Slimline options from 2200L to 5000L include pump-ready features and structural lifting points. All tanks are built from UV-stabilised, food-grade polyethylene that resists corrosion and supports long-term safe storage, even in harsh outdoor environments.

We manufacture a wide range of cartage, chemical, and specialty tanks, including diesel and spray tanks, full-drain Bigfoot and Lightfoot tanks (6000L–8000L), and compact sprayers (35L–800L). Our premium tank line (2000L–15,000L) ensures optimal drainage and agitation. Traditional tanks from 1000L–10,000L offer reliability with integrated sump and foot designs. Custom-fitted options, anchor points, and dual-skin moulding enhance functionality. For aquaculture and niche needs, we innovate with tanks that combine structural integrity with material safety and storage efficiency.

FAQschevron down

Why consider roto moulded plastic parts?

Benefits include weight reduction, corrosion resistance, and reduced cost. Rotational moulding provides the designer the freedom to address form along with function. Parts can be designed to be more ergonomic and aesthetically pleasing without affecting performance. In many cases roto moulded parts reduce the number of components in an assembly.

What colours are available? Can I choose my own?

Colour can be incorporated by dry blending a customized pigment formulation with ground natural material, or by hot melt compounding prior to grinding. With both methods, a wide range of colours is available. Our design team will evaluate specific requests. Important considerations are: base resin, pigment type restrictions (if any), environment, cost, opacity required, and part surface finish.

What materials are your tanks made from?

Our tanks use high-grade, UV-stabilised, 100% recyclable polyethylene designed for durability, chemical resistance, and environmental safety.

How can I find out if a product can be contained in a roto moulded part?

Specific chemical resistance information is available upon request. It is important to provide additional information such as temperature, concentrations, density, and how the product is to be used.

What kind of tooling is required?

Thin wall, hollow molds of two or more sections are most common. These molds are typically cast or machined aluminium, or fabricated from steel or aluminium. Individual mold sections are fitted with frames and a clamping system. The mould is provided with a method to mount it to a rotomoulding machine.

What tank sizes and types do you offer?

We offer modular, slimline, residential, commercial, agricultural, above-ground, underground, cartage, transport, and aquaculture tanks in various sizes.

What industries do Global Roto Mouldings Pty Ltd tanks serve?

We supply tanks for mining, domestic, industrial, agricultural, rural water, coal seam gas, and aquaculture applications.

Are your cartage tanks customisable?

Yes, cartage tanks like Bigfoot and Lightfoot include custom fittings, full drainage, baffles, and food-grade material options.

Are your tanks suitable for drinking water?

Yes, our tanks meet AS 2070 and AS/NZS 4020 standards for safe drinking water and food contact use.

Do you offer a free quote?

Yes, we do.
