      Holmes Paul is considered one of the pre-eminent lists of counsel at the Victorian Bar.

      With over 180 Barristers of varying seniority, we accommodate almost every aspect of the Law. We are particularly renowned for our strength in crime, family law, occupational health and safety, administrative and civil law. Our clerk Paul Holmes has experience over 20 years as a Barristers' clerk and10 years before that; as a clerk of the court at various courts around the State.

      We commenced in October 1992 to service the influx of readers coming to the Bar. Paul Holmes identified a niche among the established Lists for an innovative List to meet the needs of younger, emerging Barristers. We commenced with 30 Barristers in its current location at 555 Lonsdale St- at the time, the only List outside of Williams St. Thanks to desire and passion to develop new ideas for clerking and service delivery, the Holmes List has continued its steady growth.
