How do I choose my own therapist?
All of the psychologists at Rockhampton Psychology Services are experienced with commonly occurring disorders such as depression, anxiety and lifestyle issues. You may wish to review our particular interests and ask for a particular therapist.
What is psychological therapy?
Psychologists are experts in human behaviour. We use reliable and scientifically supported methods. Your psychologists will use cognitive behavioural therapy and its variations to treat most disorders. These therapies are used to treat individuals, groups and organisations. Your psychologist will discuss with you what sort of intervention she considers would assist you and how long this may take.
How long will I need to see a therapist?
Your therapist will discuss this with you and it will depend on the complexity of your problems.
