      How long is the warranty?

      10 years with Sykes Roofing but BlueScope Steel also provide a warranty on the product.


      Do I need insulation under my new roof?

      100% yes, The 75mm Rhino Earthwool Insulation blanket would make a big difference in your home and it goes on top of the roof battens & the roof sheets sit directly on it. It is great sound proofing, stops condensation and dust and keeps the house cool in summer and warm in winter.


      Does Sykes Roofing sub-contract the work out?

      No, as Sykes Roofing employs our own team of tradesman that work directly and only for Sykes Roofing.

      Sunshine Coast to the Gold Coast.


      How long will it take to replace my roof?

      The old roof will be removed and a new roof installed in one day. This new roof will be 100% waterproofed on the first day but depending on the size of the job we may need to return the next day to finish off the trimmings.


      Can I stay at home while my asbestos roof is being replaced?

      We are a registered and approved asbestos removalist business with workplace health & safety. As a precautionary measure only we would like to advise to keep your windows closed & not to have your washing on the line. It is ok for you to be home.


      Do I need to pay a deposit upfront?

      We don’t take any deposit but full payment for the job must be within 7 days of job completion.


      How long will it take to remove my asbestos roof and install a new roof?

      We will remove the asbestos roof to WH&S regulations and install the new roof in one day. We may need to return on the next day to finish off the trimmings but the new roof will be 100% waterproof after the first day.
