Why does my left-hand front tyre wear out so quickly?
In our beautiful city we have a lot of roundabouts. This causes wear and tear on the left- hand front tyre as the weight of the vehicle is transferred onto that wheel, especially when making right-hand turns. To combat this problem, have your tyres rotated regularly.
Why does my car shake above a certain speed?
There are a couple of reasons for this: One or more of your wheels may have dropped a weight, the resulting imbalance could be causing the vibration from the wheels to pass into the cabin. To fix this, have your wheels balanced as soon as possible. One or more of your tyres may be beginning to separate. This could make driving your vehicle dangerous and should be rectified as soon as possible. The separated tyre will have to be replaced.
How often should I have a wheel alignment?
We recommend you book in for a wheel alignment every 10,000 kilometres.
How often should I rotate my tyres?
We recommend your tyres be rotated every 5000 kilometres. This will ensure you get the best wear and mileage out of them.
