Skip

Ordered a 3 cubic metre skip, but was delivered a 2 cubic metre one. They took no action to have their supplier rectify or compensate me. Be aware that their customer service person is NZ based and appears to have little leverage with their Australian suppliers. (I had used them successfully several years ago but judging by recent reviews service has declined.)

Terrible Customer Service

They were cheap, and maybe it is my own fault for trusting a cheap supplier. It took 3 x days of waiting for the bin to arrive. Definitely could never recommend this company. The girl on the phone didn't care at all, I think she is numb to the same old problems, day after day.

Dont bother

A complete waste of time. The webpage says "yes we cover your area" but doesnt let you book. The online chat person, says NO we dont cover there. These types of services are so hard to work with.

Dodgy

Firstly, he was supposed to drop the bin off on 24 November and pick it up on 28 November.

It was only when I called him late in the afternoon on 24 November when he said he could get one from the yard and drop it off in an hour like he was doing me a favor.

Then, he didn't pick it up on 28 November as was arranged.

As I was now overseas, I sent him an email on 9 December requesting the bin to be picked up.

On 12 December he arrived to pick it up and demanded another $260 supposedly for being over weight allowance.

When my employee said that he didnt have any money and asked for an invoice to be sent to me, Mark said if he didn't get the money he would empty the bin where it stands and take his bin back.

My employee managed to scrape up $200 cash and then done a bank transfer for the other $60.

I have asked several times for a weighbridge docket (or similar) to show what the weight was and also asked for a tax invoice.

Both of which I am yet to receive.

In addition to that, I also think it very unfair and inappropriate for him to expect me to pay for excess weight after the bin had been sitting there for over two weeks past the pick up date and anyone/everyone in the area could have put more in the bin as I'm sure happens regularly.

Dreadful customer service

after taking a day off work and booking a bin for a spring clean, the bin still had not shown up by 3pm. Given that the day was over, I told Book-a-Bin not to bother delivering it, so they charged me a $120 cancellation fee.

Do Not Use This Company

Bin fell off the truck and destroyed and scratched part of my asphalt driveway garden beds. Crane truck arrived to place bin back on the truck and was like watching a circus with each operator making error after error and causing more damage. Rang the owner who then suggested we get legal advice. An absolute joke. Worst customer service I have ever encountered.

Seeking legal advice :)

Was told the bin was over weigh before they had even picked it up. Not happy with this company. Will not be using this company again.
