To The Point Sharpening is a service provided by myself, David Turton. I have been a Chef in the Hunter region for over 30 years and saw the need for a premium Knife Sharpening Service, set up through the eyes of a Chef. After perfecting my own method I hit the road in 2007 & since, have earned the trust of more than 500 Chefs in the region.

I have perfected scissor sharpening, both Dress Maker & Hair Dresser, as well as Chisels, Garden Tools etc. I offer a Mobile Service to commercial customers on a 4 weekly basis (2&8 weekly on request). For domestic sharpening, I can "Sharpen While You Shop" at The Newcastle City Farmers Markets, Newcastle Show Ground, virtually every Sunday(check the website). Or at The Essential Ingredient, Darby St Cooks Hill, where you can leave your knives, Thursday by 5 pm for pickup 12 noon the next day.
