Can I switch my air conditioner off at the power point or fuse box?

It is ok to turn the power off, especially if you are away for long periods. Most Daikin air conditioner outdoor units have a low wattage crankcase heater that keeps the compressor warm. If the compressor is cold, damage may occur at start-up, so if you turn off your air conditioner at the power point or fuse box it must be turned on again at least 12 hours before use.

I cleaned the air filter on my air conditioner but the light won't go off?

Once you've cleaned your air filter, press the reset button to turn off the filter light. On wall mounted split systems and floor consoles, remove the grille to find the reset button. For ducted, light commercial and commercial air conditioners, the reset button is located on your controller.

My air conditioner won't turn on at the remote?
