I have just stayed 5 nights at The Strand and found it to be a little old, but very comfortable. The rooms were exceptionally clean. The owner was so friendly and accommodating, as were the staff. They made it a pleasure to stay there. The beds were also very comfortable. The location is amazing - walking distance to shops, pubs, clubs, cafes, eateries & takeaways etc. Being right on the beachfront is beautiful. It's not 5 star but I will definitely be staying there again.
