We construct and do maintain all full and partial dentures. We also do while you wait emergency repairs and sports mouthguards.
DENTURES & DENTURE REPAIRS
We are registered with all private health funds and are HBF participating providers. Rebates will vary from fund to fund and even according to your level of cover within a fund. We have the HICAPS system on site, so you only need to pay the gap. Saves you time, and from coming up with the whole fee up front.
NDP is also registered to provide dentures under the CPDSS ( country patient dental subsidy scheme ). Not only are the dentures priced at discount rates, the CPDSS will subsidize up to 75% of the fees for you, leaving very low out of pocket expense.

How long to dentures last?
Denture life span is dictated by the materials used and the specific wear and tear that they are subjected to in the mouth. The usual window is between 5 and 8 years. Within that, time dentures need to be checked yearly and relined every 2 - 3 years to maximise life. Slow changes in the mouth and to the denture from wear mean that to have optimum performance, health and appearance, this regime is recommended.
How much do dentures cost?
There are many factors that determine price. Are you in a health fund? Are you eligible for pensioner subsidy? What type of denture do you need or want? So we can’t give you an exact price. But to give you an idea. A single unit on pensioner rates can cost as little as $290. Full set, $420. More complex and detailed dentures can go up to $3500 a set.
