    Halliday Shores is located at Blackhead Beach, Hallidays Point on the mid north coast of New South Wales. We are only a short 15-minute drive to Forster/Tuncurry or Taree.

  • What else will I have to pay?

    This depends entirely on your needs, but generally residents are responsible for paying their own phone, electricity, gas and contents insurance.

  • Do I need to supply documentation to certify my ability to live independently?

    Yes, if required. Before we agree to give you a lease, we may ask you to arrange for your own doctor to complete a brief medical report. This will help us decide whether you are able to adequately care for your own health, safety and hygiene.

  • Will I own my Villa?

    The village retains ownership of your villa. You will enter into a 99-year lease agreement which is registered on the Certificate of Title of the Land.

  • What happens if I want to leave Halliday Shores?

  • What happens when I go on holidays?

    One of the advantages of living at Halliday Shores is that you can pack up and leave for as long as you like knowing your home is secure, gardens are being looked after and someone is even collecting your mail.

  • What are recurrent charges?

    Recurrent charges, payable monthly, cover the operating costs of the village including the maintenance of the buildings, gardens and grounds, cleaning of communal areas, water, sewerage and council rates, rubbish removal the energy costs of the resident common and public areas, village management and administration and other general costs associated with the running of Halliday Shores. These charges are generally reviewed annually.

  • How many villas are at Halliday Shores?

    Halliday Shores currently has 57 villas, with development consent for a further 143 villas.

  • Does Halliday Shores have a Residents Committee?

    Halliday Shores has a very active Residents Committee. The Committee works with management to maintain and enhance the quality of village life for residents.

  • Does Halliday Shores have village rules?

    No, however residents and management have agreed on guidelines for living at Halliday Shores.
