We can also arrange appointments at a time and place that works for you.

  • How does the process work? - We have an initial chat by phone & then make an appointment with you.

Appointments generally go for an hour and are focused on understanding your needs and individual circumstances to enable the broker to provide you with the right advice for your home loan Our software searches hundreds of loans from our many lenders & we then discuss the top search results to help you choose the right loan for you. • How does a broker help get a loan approved?

A mortgage broker will know the necessary requirements to get a loan application over the line and approved. We’ll explain all the steps needed to clean up your financial records to make your application as attractive as possible to a lender. Unfortunately it’s not always as simple as just choosing the cheapest home loan, or cheapest interest rate.

  • What do I need to prepare before meeting with a broker?

It’s best to come along to a meeting with a list of questions you would like cleared up and we can assist in any way we can. It’s also a good idea to bring or arrange some documents that will give us an idea of where you stand financially. What you’ll need for an application is : • Pay slips (at least the last two) • Bank statements providing a document record of your saving history • Photographic ID • Statements or documents from any other loans you may have (incl. credit cards or HELP debt)

  • What types of loans can you offer me?

Money Quest has access to dozens of different lenders and loan products. The types of loans and services we have access to include: • Home Loans • Refinancing • Construction Finance • Renovation Loans • Investment Loans • Business Loans • Car Loans • Boat Loans • Business Equipment Loans

  • Do I need a deposit to buy my first home?

Yes, most lenders will require a deposit. Long gone are the days of 100% finance and no deposit home loans. Most lenders will generally require you to save at least 5% of the purchase price as a minimum, however, you may be able to utilise the option of a guarantor which may remove the need for a deposit. Some lenders will even consider rental history in lieu of a savings pattern. Feel free to contact us to discuss your individual circumstances.
