Zincalume is steel that is dipped in a zinc based product to give a protective coating. The same process is carried out to create Colorbond sheeting, then taken one step further. The Zinc coils are placed in an oven and the colour is then baked and bonded onto the zincalume coating. Hence the name â˜Colorbondâ™.

In the event we are removing asbestos fibro sheeting, we advise that you stay indoors and keep all windows closed during the removal procedure or go out during the time we are working during the day.
Depending on the material and method used it is completely acceptable to spray concrete roof tiles. However never spray terracotta as it would interfere with the natural quality of the clay and over time will peel away from the glazed surface.
Sarking is a flexible membrane that is installed under the timber tile battens when the roof is fitted. Sarking has many benefits including thermal insulation, prevention of wind driven rain penetrating roof spaces and reduction of dust in the roof spaces. We recommend the use of a good quality sarking regardless of pitch and wind category rating.
