What happens to my waste once it has been collected?
All waste is taken to You Skipit waste sorting facility or an approved and licensed external facility for the purpose of waste sorting and resource recovery.
What can you put into your Skip bin?
Any dry non putrescible (food waste/organic matter) waste can be placed in the bin.
What you cannot put into your skip bin?
Food, putrescibles, chemicals, liquid paint (dry paint in old cans is acceptable), tyres, car batteries, gas cylinders and asbestos (unless the bin has been provided, specifically for asbestos removal and has been prepared in accordance with work cover requirements).
What is liquid waste?
Liquid Waste Removal: Is the process or handling and safely removing hazardous, flammable, neutral, inert, oil, or water.
Do the bins offer easy usage?
Most of our Skip Bins have wheelbarrow access for easy loading of your waste. The containers are of an all sturdy structure with large rear doors for easy access.
How long can I keep my skip bin?
Normal hire periods are for up to 7 days. You can call You Skipit to collect your skip at any time within this period. Arrangements can be negotiated with clients who require an extended hire period.

How will I know if the skip bin I choose is correct?
Veolia skips will prompt you for information regarding the suitability of your bin request, including the types of waste that can and can't be disposed of within this receptacle. Should you require any information or assistance at any time, you can call Veolia and seek guidance on choosing the right bin for your requirements.
